Science in motion

EPFL was one of our first clients back in 2012. Since then, from computer science and life science to quantum physics, our cameras have explored the lecture halls and laboratories — not to mention some hidden gems — of this world-class university.

QUANTUM

To mark the launch of EPFL’s Master’s program in Quantum Science and Engineering, we produced a film that brings this abstract yet captivating discipline to life. The film brings together student voices, campus life, and research applications to capture the essence of the program. Presented at open days and across social media, it has been viewed by thousands of people.

SP80

SP80 started out as a student project at EPFL before becoming a company with a bold mission: to break the world sailing speed record powered solely by the wind. We joined the team at their base in Port Leucate, France, where we filmed their daily life and conducted interviews. That shoot was also used to create a series of dynamic social media clips.

LETTER TO EPFL

At the height of the pandemic, EPFL entrusted local comic Yann Marguet with a special mission: to reach out to the locked-down students in their language, getting away from the university’s standard jargon. The result was a caustic love letter to EPFL — filled with sharp jokes and biting truths. It broke the monotony, sparking laughter and reminding everyone that students cannot live on Zoom meetings alone.
